The RazoRock story began on an Italian holiday in 2009. Joseph’s father-in-law, who is a retired Italian Barber, asked Joseph to find and bring back some alum stones. Alum stones at the time were very difficult to find locally in North America and his father-in-law couldn’t shave without one! Joseph enlisted his uncle Michael on the hunt and Michael finally found a bunch of alum stones in a small shop in Lucca, Tuscany. Michael and Joseph were both curious about these salty looking stones so they gave them a try. They wet them and rubbed them on their faces after a shave and guess what? They worked! The stones sealed minor nicks, toned the skin and helped to knock out any post shave irritation…an idea and a business were instantly born!
The business started as a hobby and a pastime but as they both dove head first into the world of traditional wet shaving they quickly realized how luxurious and fulfilling this lost art of shaving could be. Michael and Joseph began contacting artisan producers of shaving soaps and aftershaves in Italy and contracting them to make special formulations just for them under the RazoRock brand. Passion took over and with the support of some very early and loyal clients, a hobby transformed into a real business! Today, RazoRock has an entire line of wet shaving products including special recipe Italian shaving soaps, artisan made pre-shaves and aftershaves, shaving brushes, traditional safety razors, a great selection of natural deodorants and a lot more. RazoRock is a grassroots business and Joseph and Michael have their clients to thank for their growth. The power of the internet and direct distribution, combined with word-of-mouth referrals from clients makes it possible for Joseph and Michael to continue pouring their passion for Italy and Italian inspired products into every RazoRock product!

I took my first shave with this beauty today. The HD handle is hefty, and feels nice in the hand. The geometry of the head is superb. It provided for a smooth, effortless, irritation free shave. This is now officially my go to, every day shaver.
This is my story. When I received this razor in the mail, I had about 24 hours of facial hair growth. Like a kid with a brand new toy, I was eager to take the razor for a spin. I went home, showered, and shaved. The end result was nothing less than perfect. BBS all over, including those troublesome spots around the neck. But since I only had 24 hours of facial hair growth, I did not want to get overly exited just yet. I mean, 24 hours of hair growth was not really much of a challenge for this razor with a Gillette Nacet blade. So, four days later, and with way more substantial hair growth, it was time to give this razor another spin. The end result? Same as the first. Four days of facial hair growth gone, just like that. BBS all over on just two passes, did a third pass just because it felt that good. If you are still reading this review, the moral of the story is, “buy the razor”, don’t double think it. I’m a head shaver with a very sensitive scalp, ie. bleeding. With the Daily razor, standard groove, it was love at first shave. It’s that good and easy to use. I have the titanium Henson mild but don’t have time to deal with the razor’s “suction” issue. The Daily grooved solved that issue. I plan to purchase a few more as backup.
I rarely review razors but I bought the .72 Lupo solid bar razor and feel compelled to do so. For my medium density beard, this razor is incomparable in smoothness and efficiency. The razor is nimble and intuitive to find the angle without effort, resulting in shaves that are outstanding and completely irritation free. I paired my .72 Lupo head with the hollow stainless steel handle and couldn’t ask for a better combination.
Ok this is my first single edge razor minus the feather DX and straight razors I own (along with about 16 DE razors – Game changer .84 and Lupo 1.27SB are my favorite DE razors) This hawk with a feather Professional blade is a true game changer. I get a BBS shave without even trying. Cuts as close as my best straight razor. I barely get stubble the following day. This cuts as clean as I can image anything possible could without having laser treatments on your hair. A steal at this price and I haven’t even got a weeper as of yet with this razor
First time user of a DE razor. After a long research I decided to go for the GC.76 and oh boy did it deliver! Precise and yet easy to use, this was a great purchase!
